I have a guinea pig!!!! i'm so excited!!! his name is moe and he is adorable!! you should all go to my facebook page and see him i have a couple pictures up... today was my first day as a sales associate... and it was not my greatest day but i'm hoping it will get better... i hope

So we spent the weekend in Annapolis for a conference on marraige... it was great Paul Tripp is hilarious and did a great job... we came back all too soon for my liking but we had to... i'v finally made some progress on the mold... i bought a bleach cleaner for the bathroom and it killed it quick so iv been bleaching any sign of mold i find wihin the house... i get such pleasure from watching it die its probably wrong... but it seems to be doing the trick which is what counts... angie informed me yesterday that she had a sales lead to replace me which i wasn't aware that she was still looking but i think i'm happy she did... with the holidays coming i should have enough hours to be able to make enough money and now i won't have the responsibility and i wont have to deal with ppl calling me in... so good things i guess... anyways we are headed to Joels house for thanksgiving and i'm planning on cooking somethings which will be cool... then comes black friday which will probably be a teribble day however its a necessary evil i guess... anyways i'm sure there will be many stories from that day... oh and by the way as far as classes go i managed to get only one but i might get an override for the other two i want the prof is considering it and she will be letting me know soon...

ok so we are flooded in it's hilarious i tried to go to work this morning and spent a half an hour trying to find a way that wasn't completely flooded out... we didn't succeed lol and i ended up not going to work... david picked us up and took us to the boys house in his SUV... so now we are just chilling and whatnot... Blair said th high tide is supposed to be just two inches lower than katrina... which is just awesome... i'm hoping this gets joel out of ROTC training this weekend... but iv never been so lucky...

well halloween was extremely boring i had to work and then we got all dressed up only to have everyone ditch us... we had set up to meet up with jordan and his posse after we got dressed and then go dancing as joel's exroomates house... but the group that jordan was with overruled his and decided to go somewhere else... whatever lol i was just peeved cause it took me forever to paint the upper half of joels body silver... oh yeah he was colossus from xmen and i was rogue... colossus is all metal and really strong so i painted joel all metallicy and silver lol it was fun...

katie asked me about the latest from my work the other day so here it is... i am still a shift manager only because we couldn't switch me until next week... but this week angie texted me and asked if i could stay shift manager a little longer basicaly cause she didn't have anyone to replace me... in exchange she said she would give me set days... so i texted back and said i didn't need set days but a set time to come in and if she could give me that then i would stay shift manager as long as she wanted me... see angie is nice and i like her and she doesn't try to bulldoze me so i try to accomodate her more... kate asked if that meant they could still call me in... yes they can but the difference is i can say no and i prob will if blair calls... just saying it pays to be nice to your ppl... anyways bottom line is ill get what i wanted in the first place and they will also know i'm serious about dropping down in the middle of the holiday if they don't treat me well...

i had roller derby last night and it was lots of fun... because i'm freshmeat i'm still doing all the falling drills and crossovers and basics like that... its really not bad i just got stuck in a group that was really really slow so i felt like it wasn't as good a workout as i should have got... but hopefully once they kind of get a feel of where ppl are skillwise they will be able to make a group that i am better suited to... but overall i had a ton on fun

First day of roller derby was awesome! my left leg was very angry at me and my feet killed but it was so much fun! these girls are really serious which is good cause it means i will get wooped into shape like i had hoped but it's also gonna be interesting cause they have money for equipment and crap that i don't so... yeah anyways i've been airing the house and burning candles to get rid of the humidity... i'm hoping that will stave off the mold a little so that i can have my house back... yay

Had a good time for halloween... didn't get to hand out candy much to my overwhelming disappointment no young children showed up at our door to squeel over my oh so cool transformer and tinkerbell candy... but we did paint joel entirely silver and spray paint my hair... yes loads of fun... anyways we got dumped last night by the ppl we were gonna go out with so around midnight we called it quits so that i would get enough sleep for practice... oh yeah forgot to mention... mom youll be so proud ;)... i'm trying out roller derby! i have a friend who just became part of the team and they were looking for ppl so i decided to try it out... i'm stoked! anyways practice boot camp thingy is today so i needed my rest so we came home cleaned up and went to bed... I woke up promptly at 630... which makes no sense to me whatsoever but i couldn't fall back asleep so here i am... telling you all about the fun we didn't have and oh yes the mold that is trying to eat our house... yesterday i descovered mold trying to eat joels desk which was slightly disturbing but not quite as bad as the rest of the mold that i found all over the house... so i called dad and talked to him about probable cause and what to do about it... then i came home and decided that the mold is what is making me sick... so today i get to purgue my house of gross nastiness... yay i'm so excited lol

yesterday I finally left my dooming note... lol no not really dooming I just left the note that told Angie and Blair that I would like to be dropped into a sales associate position... mostly because I had a conversation with Blair yesterday which started with "why didn't you take the two bags of trash out last night" and ended with "get a calander beka I handle all my hours and my families schedule and I do just fine"... the entir econversation was just basically telling me I was wrong and couldn't have the consistent hours that I had asked for... oh not to mention she basically told me she could replace me... I will spare you the gorey details but it was enough to send me over the edge and decide that if they felt like I wasn't important enough to even listen to or try to work something out instead of sit there and tell me what to do to fit into thier plans then I could be done working as a manager... I don't need this drama and with more classes next semester I really wont have the time or energy to deal with it... although as a side note Cali one of my coworkers told me Blair has lost a lot of good ppl because she likes to be in control and if she feels like she doesn't have control then she goes crazy... I don't doubt it... i've obviously seen it and so i'm ready to step down because I don't need it in my life... I went to the doctor yesterday because of a couple weird things and i'm wondering if it's not all stress caused by work... it's a thought anyways... the doctor hasn't found anything yet but everyone there seemed to get a big kick out of asking if i was pregnant and then rolling their eyes when i told them I wasn't on birth control lol... but the doc was nice

On a brighter note Joel got his unit set to Ft Eustis so he will start looking for jobs with the local police soon... he says he has looked into a bunch of departments but hasn't applied yet... which usually means he hasn't decided which one he wants more... he is plugging away at his school work like normal... haha I asked him if there was anything else he wanted me to say and he replied "that my muscles need a massage" lol so I guess I will go try to take care of that... oh on a side note Pres Obama came to our campus yesterday... which of course was a giant inconvenience for everyone but ppl really seemed excited so... the line for student tickets stretched over halfway around our stadium so yeah i mean ppl were excited

So after a wonderful weekend at work i made calls to play and music to see if i could move over... i haven't had any calls back yet so i'll be calling again soon... but after dealing with a weekend of crappy stuff at work where my store manager decided to turn her phone off and let me deal with it i'm seriously done... so i guess i'll be making more calls to play and music... Joel is doing well though... he had drill this weekend and had a couple pt tests... which of course he did well on lol... he has rotc leadership commitments that has him evaluating other students... that apparently is going well... so pray that i keep my patience at work with the managment and with the customers... pray that I will have the opportunity to switch jobs... pray that joel will continue to do well with all his work... and that we will continue to grow as a couple...

So I decided to start blogging so that people in my life would know what was going on with us and so we wouldn't have to fit so much into a little phone call lol.
